English: A firman of Fath 'Ali Shah Qajar to General Gardane referring to the report from Alimardan Beyg regarding the protection of the fortress of Erivan by General Gardane against Field Marshal Gudovitch: suggested military operations against the Russians and an indication that the Shah expects General Gardane to report shortly an end to hostilities and the capture of Field Marshal Gudovitch, December 1808, dated Shawwal 1223/November-December 1808, Persian manuscript on blue watermarked paper, 11 lines of shikasteh, further text in right margin, seal impression and gold tughra of Shah at top, 410 x 240 mm.
