The plane was ferried from a nearby RAF aerodrome by Flight Sergeant Cecil Sly DFM. His passenger, taking his first ride in a Meteor, was Squadron Leader John 'Bay' Adams DFC, AFC. The Wing was in Malta for garrison duty. | ||
