République de Cochinchine. 18 NOVEMBRE 1946 :

Arrêté du Gouvernement Provisoire de la République de Cochinchine créant des "taxes de luxe et de transaction sur les matières précieuses".

Cette taxe donnera lieu à la surcharge de timbres fiscaux de l'Indochine avec légende "ÉTAT FRANÇAIS" «Taxe de Luxe / G.P.R.C.». On connaît les valeurs 0$50, 1$, 5$, 10 $ et 50$. C'est l'une des seules traces fiduciaires d'un gouvernement éphémère quasiment inconnu.

On notera que les lettres G.P.R.C. ne sont pas alignées et leurs positions relatives varient d'un timbre à l'autre dans la feuille.

Timbre fiscal surchargé "Taxe de Luxe / G.P.R.C / (nouvelle valeur)" : timbre neuf ou détaché .........à partir de ...........15 € .

Idem légende intervertie "G.P.R.C. / Taxe de Luxe / (nouvelle valeur)":

Taxe de luxe GPRC 5$ timbre neuf ou détaché ..........à partir de ........35€.
