Summary edit

Description
English: The Fischer Block in downtown Bellingham, WA. The first two floors were built in 1896 by Edward Fischer and designed by William Cox in an eclectic Romanesque design. The building was purchased from Fischer's widow in 1922 by William F. Roehl and Charles Graham, operator of the Owl Drug store, a long time tenant in the building who would commission architect Frank C. Burns to add a third floor to the building that same year. Further remodeling in the 1940s to convert the building to medical offices would conceal all of the original architecture.
