English: As seen in December 2020. A view of the interior arcade of the Fisher Building in Detroit, Michigan, as seen from the second-floor balcony. A majestic vaulted ceiling features detailing by Hungarian artist Géza Maróti, while below we see some of the Art Deco elements that characterize the architecture: fluted pilaster strips with capitals containing octagonal reliefs of stylized human figures, urns replete with flowers, and so forth. |
