Description
English: Fishing is one of the main economic activities carried out in Uganda and its mainly carried out on lake Victoria. Some of the types of fish caught include, nile perch, tilapia, and cat fish. Fish is locally consumed since its a delicacy and also exported to European countries. Fishing as an activity provides employment for the fishermen, the suppliers, and the small scale business men and women dealing in fish and fish related commodities.
