English: Flag of Moldavia under Prince Ieremia Movilă, from a trove of flags captured at Gurăslău by the Wallachian armies of Michael the Brave and kept as trophies by the Habsburgs. From an intermediary copy made by Georg Puchner. See Dan Cernovodeanu, Știința și arta heraldică în România, pp. 430–431. Bucharest: Editura științifică și enciclopedică, 1977, and Magazin Istoric, August 1976. Another reproduction was done by Károly Cserna.

Română: Steagul domnitorului Moldovei Ieremia Movilă în 1601.
Русский: Рисунок знамени молдавского господаря Иеремии Могилы (Ieremia Movila, 1595-1606): прямоугольное красное полотнище с широкой золотой каймой, с изображением в центре серебряной головы тура, с 8-конечной звездой между рогами и двумя полумесяцами выше ушей, в серебряном кольце с крестом наверху. В серебряном крыже церковно-славянской азбукой написаны имя господаря и год – 7109 (от сотворения мира, что соответствует 1601 году от Рождества Христова). Соотношение сторон — 7:12. По рукописи, сделанной в августе 1601 года австрийским артиллеристом Георгом Пухнером. |
