Deutsch: Flechtwerkstein in der Michaelskapelle der Torhalle von Frauenchiemsee
Deutsch: Kloster Frauenchiemsee, Torhallemuseum: Flechtwerkplatte von einer karolingischen Chorschranke (Mitte 9. Jh.), 1936/38 hier im Kloster freigelegt. In den Feldern zwischen den Bändern sind zweierlei Blüten, Weinblätter und -trauben sowie ein Vogel zu sehen. Das Original befindet sich in der Archäologischen Staatssammlung München; im Torhallemuseum wird wohl – wie bei anderen Exponaten – eine Nachbildung gezeigt(?).
