February 14, 2012 Today, the Ground Forces welcomed 393 new officers. The graduation ceremony was held at the officer training school in Mitzpe Ramon and was attended by Chief of the Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz and Ground Forces Commander Maj. Gen. Sami Turgeman. They graduates will now be incorporated into the various parts of the Ground Forces, including the Artillery Corps, Armored Corps, Engineering Corps, Field Intelligence Corps, Infantry Corps and Paratroopers Brigade. Lt. Gen. Gantz said: "On a personal note, I tell you that I'm marking today the first anniversary of becoming the Chief of Staff and I can't think of a better way to finish off my first year."
