Summary edit

Description

Money Rocks County Park, Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County.

The park comprises 300-plus acres of forested land at the summit of Welsh Mountain. The so-called Money Rocks form a ledge of boulders along the north escarpment of the mountain. The ledge commands a fine view of rural northeast Lancaster County and parts of Berks County.

Adjoining the park to the south and west is the newly created, Lancaster County Conservancy–owned Welsh Mountain Nature Preserve.
