NAVAL AIR STATION MERIDIAN, Miss. (Oct. 12, 2012) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 3rd Class David Neiman rings the bell of the attack cargo ship USS Yancey (AKA-93) in honor of the Navy's 237th birthday. The bell ringing serves as a reminder of history, heritage and accomplishments of the naval service, and it is an enduring tradition of the Navy birthday celebration.
