SOUTH CHINA SEA (Oct. 11, 2012) Sailors fire M9 service pistols at paper targets on the port side elevator of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the only forward-deployed amphibious ready group and is participating in Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 2013 with the armed forces of the Philippines.
