TOLEDO, Ohio (Aug. 23, 2012) The US Brig Niagara, the relief flagship for Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry in the Battle of Lake Erie in 1813, transits the Maumee River during Toledo Navy Week 2012. Toledo Navy Week is one of 15 signature events planned across America in 2012 and coincides with the Navy's commemoration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812, hosting service members from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy.
