Image title | While the Farah Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) gets ready to celebrate the completion of the Kadanak Village electrification project that was contracted out to Abdul Ghani, owner of the Abdul Ghani Electrification Company (A.G.E.C), the team of engineers at the PRT have already begun a project to improve the existing electrical services in Farah City, the largest population center in Farah Province, Afghanistan, Jan. 13, 2010. There are six districts in Farah City and not everyone has access to electric power. The PRT engineers are working with the local government to increase the cities power and to better distribute it throughout the districts by creating a power grid. |
