| Description |
English: Flooded earthworks of a DMV. A DMV is a Deserted Mediæval Village, of which there are hundreds about the country and are particularly common in this area. Here the southernmost earthworks, which betray the original positions of former buildings, have become flooded and now sport a reed bed and good array of marsh plants. These earthworks are presided over by a motte called The Beacon - see 465379 & 465384
