Summary edit

Description
English: Flooding on the River Nailbourne in Charlton Park As seen from Charlton Park access road. This river is an intermittent river flowing for about 6 months every 5-7 years. But in the Winter of 2000/2001 it flowed more strongly than any previous records were held. It flooded many nearby cottages and houses along its route. Looking upstream. Currently, it is at full spate due to recent snow melt going through the chalk downs and feeding the springs feeding the river. Charlton Park house is in the background.
