  • 2009 Charles E. Peterson Prize, Second Place
  • Significance: Buena Vista is located at one of the highest points on the campground. It has bunks for 16 boy scouts, equipped with a fireplace, woodburning stove and sink, the roof has been replaced with asphalt shingles (wood shakes likely as the original), and the inside of the fireplace has also been replaced. The original exterior brick of the fireplace has been encased with wood recently as well.
