Description
English: A theorized aspect of consciousness, published by Brad Caldwell in Rings of Fire book. It is theorized that many regions of the brain draw a "cartoon" for prefrontal cortex ("you") to view so as to influence it and gain its help. This cartoon either uses actual time (tens of milliseconds) to cyclically precess or "postcess" (lag) and use time as one axis for drawing 3D movie skins. For example, if you hear "angel hair pasta," the auditory cortex may draw the 2D outline of an angel with her hair flowing down, viewing from the back. As the "ring" rotates over time, you gain more of a 3D understanding. Further, cyclic precession or "postcession" (lagging) can enable actual drawing on lost axial axis (move bits of the sound slightly into the future or past of where they "should" be to "paint" this extra dimension - assumes the "canvas" is flowing very fast [10-15 m/s]). These skins are translucent and usually not paid visual attention to, but rather are mostly mental and more felt at the usual fast pace of daily life.
