Description
English: Looking northwest down the Avenue of Africa in the former World's Fair grounds of Flushing Meadows–Corona Park, at Avenue of Africa and Avenue of Asia near Corona, Queens. One of the notable features of the park is it's distinctive axial street plan, created during the 1939 World's Fair. This is one of the Washington, D.C.-style diagonal promenades that radiate out from the Unisphere.
