Description
Català: Font de la plaça de la Creu (Igualada), amb l'edifici de Cal Maco al darrera. Autors: Bonaventura Bassegoda i Musté / Ernest Marco. Davant de l'antic portal de Capdevila hi havia un espai obert que separava la muralla del raval. S'hi alçava una creu gòtica, desapareguda, la qual ha donat nom a l'actual plaça. L'any 1954 s'hi va construir l'actual font projectada per Bonaventura Bassegoda i Musté, culminada amb una creu esculpida per Ernest Marco. La creu, a l'estil de les creus de terme gòtiques o renaixentistes, té en una cara el Crist crucificat i a l'altra, la Verge. El capitell presenta motius al·legòrics de la ciutat.
