Description
Deutsch: Fontes e sequestros ist der Name eines Kunstwerks der brasilianischen Installations- und Konzeptkünstlerin Renata Lucas, das anlässlich des Berliner Gallery Weekends 2015 entstand und von der Galerie neugerriemschneider präsentiert wurde. Der zentrale Bestandteil des Werks, ein Springbrunnen, befindet sich im Hof des denkmalgeschützten Hauses Linienstraße 155 in Berlin-Mitte. In dem Kunstwerk vereinigte Lucas die nachgegossenen Strukturen von drei Berliner Brunnen aus unterschiedlichen architektonischen Epochen zu einem neuen geschichtlichen Symbol.
English: Fontes e sequestros is an art work, created by brazilian installation- and conceptual artist Renata Lucas on the occasion of Berlins Gallery Weekend 2015. It was presented by the gallery neugerriemschneider in the listed building Linienstraße No. 155 in Berlin-Mitte, Germany. The central part of the work, a fountain, is placed in the courtyard of the gallery. In the work Lucas combined the recasted structures of three Berlin-fountains from different architectural epochs into a new historical symbol.
