English: Footbridge, Rochdale Canal, Sowerby Bridge. Not much navigable water remains to the east of here, because just round the corner the Tuel Lane blockage awaits - this was ten years before the canal was fully reopened. The chimney of Corporation Mill and the dome of Sowerby Bridge Town Hall are both visible. |
