| Description |
English: Footbridge across the lower Afon Cwm Edno. This shaky looking footbridge is actually quite robust! It is at the end of a disused farm track from Blaenau Dolwyddelan, which does not continue north of the river. On the 1940s map, there is a small reservoir just west of this place, so the track may have provided access to it. There is no reservoir there now. All of this square is rough moorland, wet in places. The river runs along the southern edge of the square. The land slopes northward, with Cribau, the SW spur of Moel Siabod (the peak shown in the background) in the NW corner. |
