English: Footpath, Battlescombe. This footpath is very near to the "Giant's Stone" - the remains of an ancient burial chamber indicated on the map. I could find no trace of this, but everywhere is very overgrown at present, it may well be easier to spot in the winter. This bit of woodland is not clearly shown on the map. The footpath heads off towards Jones Slad Farm. |
