Summary
editDescriptionFootpath on former mineral railway at Hednesford. - geograph.org.uk - 1775846.jpg |
English: Footpath on former mineral railway at Hednesford. Standing on the trackbed of the former mineral line leading from Hednesford to Cannock Wood and Chase Terrace, looking over the Hednesford to Rugeley Road. The continuation of the embankment can be seen on the far side of the road. A rather narrow road bridge carried the track over the road, no doubt removing an annoying bottleneck when demolished, probably at the end of the 1970's |
