Português: NBR NOTÍCIAS - 06.05.14: A Força Nacional do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) está em Porto Velho, capital de Rondônia, para apoiar as ações de assistência às pessoas desabrigadas ou desalojadas depois das cheias do Rio Madeira. Duas equipes de Atenção Básica formadas por médicos, enfermeiros e técnicos de saúde vão atuar, durante 10 dias, nas comunidades ribeirinhas de São Carlos e Nazaré. A principal preocupação do momento é evitar que os cidadãos contraiam doença provocadas pela lama contaminada. Desde o início do ano, para atender às vítimas das enchentes em Rondônia, o Ministério da Saúde, por meio da Força Nacional do SUS, enviou para o estado, 7,5 toneladas de medicamentos e insumos divididos em 30 kits, capazes de atender 45 mil pessoas em um mês. Cada kit encaminhado é composto por 48 itens, sendo 30 medicamentos e 18 itens para primeiros-socorros.
