There is nothing like an American ponycar, at the end of the day. Someday I may decide to drive one myself. The interior of this Mustang is quintessentially American - none of the sleekness of import interiors and a bit low-rent, but definitely functional. And I love the retro gauges (whose backlighting color can be changed to a few dozen options). And I also like the sight of a manual transmission! This is the performance GT version of the Mustang with V8, so manual transmission is very appropriate here, as long as I don't end up frying the clutch or the differential. I once did fry the clutch of a different manual-transmissioned Ford - a Contour V6. Seen at Los Angeles International Auto Show, 2011. |
