Summary edit

Description A perfectly working Ford 1932 V.8 engine exposed at Volandia Museum of flight near Milan-Malpensa International Airport in Somma Lombardo (province of Varese, Lombardy, Italy).
This car was registered in Varese in 1933 by Armando Testoni, an engineer who was an executive at aircraft company Aermacchi of Italy. During WWII he hid that car behind a wall built in his mansion's garage to prevent it to be stolen by German troops. Following the passage of the building to the Province of Varese, during the renewal of the mansion in 1998 the car was found: it had a mileage reading of circa 100,000 kilometres (about 60,000 miles). The Province then loaned the car to the Museum of Flight.
