English: Ford and footbridge The surface ripples in the river just below the bridge are caused by the underlying concrete track which prevents vehicles that pass the ford from getting stuck in the riverbed.
Wash Lane is a track with public access, linking Bradcar Road > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1761808 and Sallow Lane > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1762236 further to the south-east. About half way along, the lane fords the River Thet > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1762177 and a footbridge > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1762181 takes pedestrians across the river without getting their feet wet. |
