Summary edit

Description
English: Ford at Watery Lane, Redbourn - 1953. Not much in use by vehicular traffic, as the lane did not go anywhere, but the path went on to cross the Nicky Line railway to Harpenden. That line is now a formal path - see Nigel Cox's photo 143073, which was taken just a short distance to the east. Pedestrians had the use of a footbridge just out of shot to the left.
