Summary

edit
Description Abandoned Chicago & North Western Railway swing bridge (officially, Drawbridge #1556 of CNW) over the Milwaukee River, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was built in 1915, to replace an older bridge. The railroad line across it was abandoned several years ago, and the 243-foot-long swing span is now fixed in the open position at all times.
