Description
English: Former St Leonard's Chapel. Viewed through the gateway from Corve Street.

St Leonard's Chapel was built in 1871 to a design by George Gilbert Scott, as a chapel of ease for the nearby Foxe's Almshouses. The land on which it is sited was next to the former Carmelite Friary, and had been donated to St Laurence's Parish in 1824 by the Clive family as a burial ground (see 1250001). The church is now redundant, with a second life firstly as an antiques centre and now as a printing press.

It is grade II listed - for listing particulars, see http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=389915&resourceID=5.
