Summary
editDescriptionFormer canal pumping station, Siddal, Halifax - geograph.org.uk - 926584.jpg |
English: Former canal pumping station at Siddal, Halifax, West Yorkshire. This housed a beam pumping engine to supply water to a long abandoned canal from Halifax centre to Salterhebble. The late George Watkins photographed this and it's recognisably the same building. I've decided it's best labelled as an engine house. |
