English: Former course of the Witches Plantain Burn (See the last paragraph of 932217 for details of that burn.)
At the time when the crannog was excavated in 1898, the burn used to follow the artificial channel here that is now indicated by this straight line of seaweed-covered stones. It later changed its course, and now curves a little to the east to flow round the other side of Dumbuck Crannog site instead. |
