| Description | Former fire station 255 of TVF&R on SW Choban Lane (formerly part of Barnes Road), in 2015. This station opened in April 1984 and closed in March 1998. During most of its life, the station was on Barnes Road, but realignment of part of that road to a wider, less steep and more straight alignment in the 1990s left this section as a dead-end street, and it was renamed Choban Lane. The station was located in the southernmost part of Cedar Mill, and during its entire period of use as a fire station, it was in unincorporated Washington County. However, the City of Beaverton annexed the property in 2005. It was demolished in late 2019 or 2020, in preparation for redevelopment of the site and adjacent property to the east and north. |
