Summary

Description
English: Former railway cutting. That is it is a cutting formerly used by a railway. The cutting is still very much there, albeit very overgrown, whilst the railway, the former Didcot, Newbury, Southampton line, has long since gone (shame). Compare this with the modern route to Southampton, the nearby A34 881366 which uses the route of the old railway in many places. This is taken from a footbridge over the cutting, which is itself rather overgrown.
