Description
English: The restored interior of an upstairs room of the non-commissioned officers quarters of Fort Egbert. The five-year restoration project of the non-commissioned officers' quarters at Fort Egbert. Carpenters and restoration experts repaired damage to original materials such as doors, floors, and wood trim. The original wallpapers, badly damaged by water and sun, were replicated and installed by an Eagle resident under contract. The NCO quarters is one of five remaining fort buildings visited by thousands of tourists each year. Photo by Bob Wick (BLM)
