Summary
editDescriptionFort Furggels - 10.5 cm Armored Turret No. 2 (32502086287).jpg |
Around this gun exist even more of the camouflage. It belonged to the second expansion stage with armored turrets and was ready to fire on July 15, 1942. It can also be seen here that the huts above the dome were filled with straw. That was for the isolation against condensation, which was a big problem. Also on the inside a lot of effort was made with small air conditioners and heaters. The heaters are today in the officers' bedrooms. They have a 380V connection, and almost nobody knows what purpose they had. St. Margrethenberg, Switzerland, Jan 1, 2011. |
