Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine)

Le château et la porte de la ville close.

La Porte Notre-Dame avec ses deux tours; à droite la tour de la Trémoille du XVe et à gauche de la porte, la tour du Plesguen, du XIVe siècle.

La tour carrée est la tour de la Haye-Saint-Hilaire, du XIIIe siècle. La tour ronde avec le toit est la tour de Hallay, du XIIIe siècle.

La ville comportait une enceinte fortifiée avec quatre portes, trois ont disparu, il ne reste que la Porte Notre-Dame (ou Saint-Sulpice ou Porte du Chesnay).
