Description |
English: White calf in the painting "Found" by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Started in the 1850s (this part may have been finished then) but the painting was not completed at his death in 1882. This is a cropped portion. The whole painting shows a presumed prostitute meeting a former suitor, with the calf playing an allegorical role. |
