Ah the V&S Stedman's, I grew up with these. They are the precursor to today's dollar stores, or for you lot, the evolution of the East End market stalls. I.E.: every last bit of junk that will be good for what you need, but you'll only need it once. It exists in a couple of old flat topped Quanset huts scattered about close to the hiway. Shouldn't mock though as we are in this place pretty much once a week and Bev's fruit stand, just up ahead, has some truly wonderful produce.

This is hiway 6, for the last 50 or so miles this has been the only route on or off the Bruce Penninsula. It runs in one long straightish line from Owen Sound to Tobermory, (where you either catch the ferry-boat or roll your windows up real tight...), passing through some smallish towns but mostly striking through scattered bushlots, Provincal and National forests and Native hunting grounds. 

The Provincial Campsite is just below us and the town proper is over that rise and on again for about two minutes. But we're going to be turning just after those buildings up ahead...
