English: Francis I of the Two Sicilies in the gardens of the Élysée Palace of Paris, 1830. Le roi François Ier des Deux-Siciles est figuré en pied et en uniforme sur fond de paysage, tandis que sa femme est vêtue d'une robe blanche avec une volumineuse coiffe bleue d'inspiration ottomane. La reine des Deux-Siciles est représentée en pied dans les jardins du palais de l'Elysée, que l'on reconnait au second plan à gauche et à droite, et qui fut le lieu de résidence du roi et de la reine des Deux-Siciles pendant leur séjour en France de mai à juillet 1830. Une visite royale qui fut l'occasion de fêtes aussi nombreuses que brillantes et qui se doublait d'une rencontre de famille. Le roi François Ier des Deux-Siciles était le père de la duchesse de Berry et le frère de Marie-Amélie de Bourbon, duchesse d'Orléans. |
