PLEASE, NO invitations or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks. We rare now in Angers, France. We did not go into the Gallery but it was just pointed out to us. We had passed a castle and I was wanted to go see it....... The Gallery which is devoted to the 19th century sculptor David d'Angers, was opened in 1984 on the site of Toussaint Abbey which was partly destroyed. The original roof was in in bad repair so it was replaced by a glass roof, which permits the light to come in and contributes to bring the statues of David d'Angers magically to life. |
