Description
Deutsch: Frankfurt-Bockenheim, heutige Gräfstraße, vormals Königstraße. Gegenüber entstand das Bockenheimer Straßenbahndepot. Das abgelichtete Grundstück war vormals Sitz der liquidierten Reifertschen Chaisenfabrik und wurde durch die spätere Weltfirma Hartmann & Braun AG, bzw. VDO bebaut. Wiederaufbau nach dem Krieg mit einem mehrstockigen Gebäude für die Hauptverwaltung nach Zerstörung durch Fliegerbomben. Nach Verkauf und Produktionsverlagerung saniert durch eine Immobiliengesellschaft. 2013 war Hauptmieter eine Bank der Dieter Hopp Gruppe. Das linke mehrstockige Wohnhaus hat sich bis heute erhalten. Im Hintergrund sieht man den damaligen Bockenheimer Wasserturm auf der Ginnheimer Höhe. Rechts neben den beiden hier sichtbaren Schornsteinen kann man das Dach des Falkenhofes, ein von Emil Moritz von Bernus gestifteten Gemeinde/Vereinshaus des Evangelischen Hilfsverein Frankfurt erkennen. Das auf dem Photo links sichtbare mehrstöckige Wohnhaus hat sich bis heute erhalten.
