Description
English: 49. The Wedding House of the Jews' Alley. The same was located in the front part of the western row of houses abutting on the city walls and was demolished in 1864. It was one of the three houses serving public purposes that had to be part of every Jews' Alley, namely: Synagogue, Bath House and Wedding also Dance House. Weddings and other celebrations were held here. The record is from 1845.
Deutsch: 49. Das Hochzeitshaus in der Judengasse. Dasselbe stand im vorderen Teil der westlichen, an die Stadtmauer stoßenden Häuserreihe und wurde 1864 abgerissen. Es war eines der drei, öffentlichen Zwecken dienenden Häuser, welche in keiner Judengasse fehlten durfen, nämlich: Synagoge, Badehaus und Hochzeits- auch Tanzhaus. Hier wurden Hochzeiten und sonstige Festlichkeiten abgehalten. Die Aufnahme ist vom Jahre 1845.
