Description
English: Plaque for Private Frederick William Evans of the 37th Australian Infantry Battalion at Memorial Drive, Peron, Western Australia. A poppy has been placed on the plaque for ANZAC Day, three days before this image was taken. The plaque is located near the Rockingham RSL. According to the Australian War Memorial, Evans died of wounds in France. He was buried at the Trois Arbres Cemetery, Steenwerck, Nord Pas de Calais, France.
