Description
English: Freemasons Hall, Hunter Street. The central front elevation of the Freemasons Hall, which faces on to Hunter Street. This carved stone work above the central window states that this very imposing building was built in 1909. The building is now being prepared for demolition as part of the extensive Northgate Development project. In the Demolition Method Statement items of architectural salvage will be recovered, stored safely and passed to the client for incorporation into the new development, so the building should not be entirely lost. See also 450596.
