Description Fresh veggies displayed outside the ethnic Chinese grocery store/ supermarket on Spadina Ave. in Toronto's ethnic Chinatown district. Established in the 1960s. this district is called the 'Old Chinatown'. An earlier 'First Chinatown' district, established in the 1890s was knocked down in 1955 to make way for the Toronto City Hall. More notes in previous captions and also as we go along in this album. (Toronto, Canada, Nov.2015)
