Description
Deutsch: Fresko in der Saukapelle aus dem 15. Jahrhundert, Pietadarstellung als neues Motiv in der Gotik. Marienfigur im weichen Stil, mit dem rechten Arm Jesus umarmend, mit der linken Hand eine Träne abwischend.Der Jesus umfassende Schleier wird von einem feinen Muster geziert. Das Fresko wurde erst kurz vor der Überstellung hinter einem Bild des Hl. Leonhard ( Tamsweger Wallfahrtspatron ) entdeckt. Es gilt als eines der ältesten Fresken im Bereich der Pfarre Mariapfarr, von der auch der Bau der über Tamsweg stehenden Leonhardskirche ausging.
