English: Friar Street, looking west The snow seemed to particularly affect Northern Hampshire and Berkshire on this evening. Friar Street, Reading's second main town centre thoroughfare, is normally packed with people and buses in the evening peak. However, gridlock elsewhere meant that nothing was getting back to the town centre so people had the street to themselves. |
